JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- To understand the trend strategy and ensure this is delivered into store effectively
- To work alongside the merchandise team to ensure that the product strategy is understood, and develop commercial and visual layouts that will drive the sales within each category.
- To work alongside the merchandising team to ensure that layouts are able to be delivered with the planned stock flow.
- To remain up to date with competitor trends and key styles
- To remain up to date with the latest styling trends
- To work with the marketing team to ensure that the correct product is featured into windows and styled correctly.
- To develop and deliver weekly and phase communication to store teams that will drive high standards of execution
- To work with the POS team to ensure that the correct messages are being delivered to the customer whether price or fashionability, or a shopability support tool.
- To ensure that the shopping experience remains engaging throughout the season changes with visual and creative interest.
- To work alongside the Field Visual teams and Retail teams to remain updated on trading to enable a quick reaction to sales and sell through to remain credible in all areas, and communicate actions to stores.
- To work with the merchandising teams as well as the engineering team to ensure that fixture is relevant to the product.
- To take ownership of a profile strategy that delivers the correct level of segmentation, engagement and relevance to the product.
- To develop an ideal store concept and communicate to the Field Visual team to cascade to retail teams.
- Accountable for the visual strategy delivery across the country, by ensuring consistent layouts and implementation of the visual and POS guidelines.
- Responsible for coaching and developing store team, to improve the visual and commercial strength of store
- Produce and deliver a field visual training strategy across the country to agree training, focus stores, to ensure effective working and protecting/driving sales. Set key KPI’s to measure success
- Review in store merchandising guidelines and recommend appropriate actions for future communications, by feeding back to the Office VM team.
- Regular store visits to review and improve implementation of layouts, guidelines and windows.
- Responsible for producing layout plans for new and concept stores.
- Review competitors in the market place for merchandising, layouts and POS and make proposals for NL stores.

OVERALL REQUIREMENTS

- Strong interpersonal skills – this role needs to work along side many functions
- An understanding of stores, and kit
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to use power point is essential
- Creative & a passion for product
- Minimum 5 years visual experience
- Experience of working in a head office environment and developing visual strategies
- A love of fashion, trend and styling knowledge
