Inspector (Stationary)

Job Title: Inspector

Reporting to: Inspection Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The Inspection Supervisor’s role is to schedule and provide oversight to SECL’s entire quality control process in order to ensure timely and thorough inspections of project and vendor auditing with operation team.

2. Manage and supervise internal or TPI inspectors to perform the detailed and professional inspections in an efficient manner, ensure the reports from they delivered are complete and correct according the company or Project standards.

3. Review and comment the ITP from vendor according to the specification, participate in KOM and lead the PIM, instruct or execute the inspection activity accordingly.

4. Communicate with HQ or customers in a professional manner to effectively prevent and solve problems.

5. Join the cross-functional team to do the vendor auditing and lead the comments from quality view.

6. Prepare and issue supplier performance feedback report to team leader when PO closeout.

7. Business trip to carry out sourcing plan and supplier management activities

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, preferably in mechanical of industrial manufacturing related discipline, Master degree is highly preferred;

2. Solid experience in an international EPC company or Quality Control Company, such as SGS, TUV, Moody, BV is highly preferred;

3. 10+ working experience ,at least 5 years experience as a inspection relevant position for a similar business field(Hydrocarbon, energy, power plant experience preferred)

4. Inspection related experience in equipment and material manufactory (like Boiler, power plant, pressure vessel, pump, etc.) is preferred.

5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to develop relationships with related parties and suppliers.

6. Result oriented, a good team player and be able to work under pressure

7. Willing to travel locally to drive sourcing or project management activities

8. Fluent in English
