The Senior Software Developer is responsible for leading an existing team of developers, working towards delivering reliable software and hardware solutions and delivering projects on time and budget.
Role Description
The Business Consultant will be primarily responsible for planning, organizing and leading tasks and projects to ensure the quality of client deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the single point of contact for both internal and external parties to ensure smooth and consistent communication flow.
Operate effectively and clearly in an unstructured environment and demonstrate an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by the firm.
Responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, resources and project deliverables.
Assist with projects that include strategy development, requirements definition, business process improvement, stakeholder involvement, change management, quality assurance, risk management, user training, application configuration, system installation, and testing.
Lead, coordinate and monitor all project related activities to ensure smooth execution of project tasks and deliverables;
Provide direction for the project team, ensuring project scope is completed with high quality, on schedule and within budget.
Identify and manage project risks to minimise impact to project timeline, quality of deliverables and costs
Experience with managing the Quality Assurance processes for software implementations.
Ability to generate project documentations (eg. Functional Specification) and adhere to project reporting procedures;
Identify customer needs for continuing business relationship.
Maintaining and expanding client relationships through delivery of solution based high quality work.
Provide consultancy services to customers on technical requirements and be responsible for design and technical specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, post graduate diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering.
At least 6 years relevant management experience in software development projects.
Must be able to demonstrate experience in managing medium to large scale software application development project.
Strong project management skills and keep abreast with latest project management tools and styles.
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and ability to manage software quality.
Experienced in managing customers and suppliers and strong customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Fluent English, both writing and speaking.
Result-oriented with strong problem solving skills.
Must be willing to travel.
Strong application design knowledge.
Good working knowledge in Databases and various type of operating systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
Strong application project management skill ( > 3 years) and design knowledge.
Knowledge of industry business best practices (eg. CPG industry).
Application design knowledge in C#.Net.
Has knowledge of SQL.
