Job Description
Basic Requirements

? Should hold a Professional or Management degree from a leading institute
? Strong customer awareness with ability to manage customer expectations.
? Ability to work at the strategic level as well as having an eye for detail.
? Should be a good team player and highly motivated.
? Should have excellent communication, presentation and client interaction skills.
? Should have an analytical bent of mind with capability of deciding on nature of information needed and the ability to derive business sense of such information.
? Should be able to think logically and present ideas convincingly.
? Ability to estimate work and deliver to realistic deadlines; also to recognize and resolve unrealistic deadlines in advance of expected delivery dates.
? Strong trait of quality consciousness.
? Initiative in keeping abreast of changing industry practices, analysis and design methods, tools and techniques and emerging technologies.
? Ability to develop & maintain working relationships with a number of stakeholders and senior professionals.
? Interface with client teams (global and local) to identify improvement opportunities in client businesses.
? Relationship Management - Ability to establish working relationships with key client personnel.
? Strengthen offerings – development of collateral, methodology refinements, best practices updates and trends tracking, create and support proposals incorporating Accenture value proposition.
? Perform Business Process Improvement using various business consulting tools and methodologies.
? Work with cross-functional client teams to perform gap analysis and identify improvement options.
? Create detailed action plans that include organizational change management, resource planning, competitive strategies, and alliances to embark on a new strategic direction and to enable successful deployment of solutions.
? Incorporate Accenture best practices & development methodologies into every stage of the project management lifecycle.
? Gather facts (through research, interviewing, surveys, etc.), analyze the client's business, draw conclusions, prepare final reports, and give presentations.
? Scope and create payments functional/application architectures by applying Accenture standard reference architectures
Detailed requirements for different levels are following:
Consultant:
The Consultant will provide domain skills to help clients design and implement their business strategies, to improve processes by mapping processes to industry standards, by streamlining processes and business workflow modeling.
? 3-7 years of experience with leading consulting firms with a prior stint in Banking sector is preferred
? Should have a good knowledge of Payment Systems and Banking Operations and be abreast with the latest industry trends
? Should be able to scope and create payments functional/application architectures
? Should have experience of functional architecture/design, either with a leading package such as Fundtech GPP
? Would be beneficial if the consultant has experience of FasterPayments or G3
? Should have knowledge of SWIFT, clearing and settlement/ACHs or other market payment infrastructures
? Should have experience in gathering and defining business requirements, functional and non-functional, for payments architectures
? Candidates are required to have good mix and exposure to Operations and Technology (operations, technology, and back office functions).
? Should have a broad understanding of critical banking areas like liquidity management, AML, sanctions, operational/business activity monitoring, investigations.
? Should have worked in the areas of Process re-engineering or process design, Develop business requirement specifications; Gap analysis; Operational Transformation; Project Management.
? Experience and strong knowledge in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC): requirements definition/gathering, application design and development & functional testing.
? Exposure to product implementations teams or solution roadmap teams to detailing business requirements, working with product development teams across development life cycle stages – estimation, requirements detailing, functional specification, system testing.
? Functional expertise in the areas of Requirement gathering, Building test scenarios and testing will be ideal.

Guidelines:
? Suitable candidate should have mix of Domain Experience (acquired by working with above mentioned industries) and Consulting Experience.
? Visa Readiness (US/UK/Others) is a huge plus for suitable candidates.
