职位描述

Amazon China is seeking a smart, pro-active, customer oriented In-Stock manager to help grow our Grocery and Wine business. The in-stock team oversees buying and manages inventory for one of the most exciting product lines at Amazon.cn and plays a critical role in helping Amazon to build, manage and optimize a complex supply chain that continues to evolve and expand. The in-stock team is also responsible for ensuring all inventory systems and processes meet the needs of the CN grocery and wine business and implementing controls around these processes.

As in-stock manager, you own defining, measuring, executing the business goals of your business segment. Key areas of focus include driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency and improving purchasing efficiency. You own identifying and driving these improvements across your business segment. You are also responsible for improvements to inventory management processes over time, including identifying defects, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency. Some of the specific systems and processes you'll oversee include product information, purchase order and forecasting, planning new products, and planning for future demand events thru coordinating merchandising and publicity events in order to maintain adequate inventory levels.
? Inventory management, reviewing and acting upon unhealthy/unsellable inventory to ensure good inventory health
? Vendor management, including order chasing, PO management, sharing and adjusting forecasts, promotional and seasonal planning, and delivery performance
? Buying management, including reviewing, revaluating and improving current buying practices
? Selection and promotion management, working with Vendor Managers on new line buys, expanding selection, promotions, and optimum sourcing decisions
? Margin management, working with Vendor Mangers to review buying process and ensure item cost is accurate
? Item lifecycle management, ensuring that only the most up-to-date information is available for customers to see
? Buying strategy management, including looking for ways to procure quicker, cheaper, and more efficiently
? Systems development work liaising with technical teams and other users to define and implement system developments to improve team performance and efficiency
? Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to improve supply chain efficiency (vendor lead time, delivery defects, internal operations, transportation)
Basic Qualifications
? Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
? Minimum 5 years professional experience in inventory planning/ supply chain related jobs
? Proven ability to work well with and drive improvements of tools
? Excellent analytical skills and very good Excel skills
? Willing and able to learn new things quickly
? Ability to self-organize multiple tasks well and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results
? Ability to think big as well as dive deep, without losing focus
? Bias for Action to deliver within tight deadline
? Strong sense of ownership
? Willingness to work well in a team
? High degree of proactive “hands-on” thinking and acting
? Dealing with ambiguity / stress

Preferred Qualifications
? Proficiency in oral and written English
? Experience in retail and relative background, or B2C industry
? MBA from a well-respected business school
