Job Description:
Amazon.com is looking for a sharp, analytical, enthusiastic Online Site Merchandiser with strong editorial and writing skills, marketing savvy, and an interest in creative problem solving to join our team. The Online Marketing Manager will drive improvements in the overall look, feel, and online navigation. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.

The successful candidate will plan and schedule content across the site, analyze metrics, and report on performance. The Online Marketing Manager will be data driven, detail-oriented, extremely organized and professional, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management. Specific responsibilities include working with internal and external resources to:
? drive internal and external traffic
? plan, develop, and execute compelling e-mails and merchandising campaigns
? analyze results of merchandising and traffic efforts
? plan, develop, and coordinate cross-site sales and events
? review and drive improvements to customer experience, including search and browse
? be the product expert and work to drive growth by increasing sales conversion
? write strong copy, including irresistible calls-to-action for targeted audiences
? analyze performance of content and email, always seeking ways to improve
? work with vendors and vendor managers to create on-brand, best-in-class content
? analyze traffic patterns and optimize for seasonality, relevance, and selection
? drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, engineers, designers, and other merchandisers

Basic Qualification:
? Bachelor’s degree
? 5+ years of experience in marketing and e-commerce merchandising is required
? proficiency with HTML, XML, and Excel
? Sufficient fluency in both Chinese and English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualification:
? Interests in publishing and digital media
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
? Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the internet shopper.
? Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
? Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge
