The Marketing Team at Amazon is responsible for all external communications with our customers wherever those customers are. Our communication channels include Paid and Natural Search, Display Advertising, Email, Amazon’s Associates program, Social Network Marketing, Central Promotion and more. Now the Amazon China Marketing team is looking for a sharp, analytical, enthusiastic Marketing Manager (Merchandising) with strong editorial and writing skills, marketing savvy, and an interest in creative problem solving to join our team. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and want to be part of the Amazon China Central Promotion team, you are in the right place.

As Marketing Manager (Merchandising) in Amazon China marketing organization, you will focus on planning and scheduling content for cross-site promotions, analyzing metrics, and reporting on performance. In addition, you will partner with traffic management team, participate promotion strategic defining and planning. You should be result-driven, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and comfortable working with multiple Amazon core departments (i.e. retail team, operation team, finance team).

Specific responsibilities include working with internal and external resources to:

? Plan, develop, and execute compelling promotional pages and merchandising campaigns catering to customer needs, guard customer experience and improve conversion.?Write strong copy, including irresistible calls-to-action for targeted audiences
? Analyze results of merchandising and traffic efforts, always seeking ways to improve
? Review and drive improvements to customer experience, including search and browse
? Partner with traffic management team to drive traffic to cross-site promotion pages.
? Partner with WW event team, drive promotion automation, and best practices enhancement.
Basic Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree
? 5+ years of experience in marketing and e-commerce merchandising is required
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
? proficiency with HTML, XML, and Excel
? Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge
? Understand the Chinese online market as well as the Chinese online shoppers, monitor market promotion activities: promotion timing, promotion design, promotion offer, and marketing plan; translate these information into valuable insights to improve Amazon promotion quality.
? Strong learning ability, can start from scratch, but quickly become expert
Preferred Qualifications

? Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
? Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the internet shopper.
? Excellent Chinese and English writing documentation skill
