Manager, Internal Audit

External Job Description
Amazon is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join our China Audit team. This position will focus on assessing processes and controls, conducting forensic analysis, and supporting investigations.

You will conduct fraud risk assessments and evaluations across all areas of the business. You will plan and scope audits, execute audit plans, prepare written findings, and facilitate business responses and action items. You will provide consultative support to business partners to identify opportunities for control improvements with the objective of mitigating risk and improving financial and operational performance. Audit areas may include procurement, AP, payroll, operations, retail, and asset management, among others. Additionally, you will participate in ad-hoc assignments and investigations as needs arise.

You must be able to work independently, remain flexible with the ability to prioritize workloads, and maintain a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. You should have a strong background in auditing, forensic accounting, investigations, or data analytics. In addition, the right individual will have solid business judgment, strong controllership focus, and the capability to drive a fast paced organization to the right results with a focused and pragmatic approach to the business.

This position will be based out of Beijing and may require up to 15% travel, including some international travel.
Basic Qualifications
? 4 year degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, or similar field
? 6+ years of experience with Auditing, Data Analytics, Investigations, or Forensic Accounting, showing progression in areas for responsibility
? Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin
? Enthusiasm to work hard and make history
? Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred Qualifications
? Advanced degree (e.g., MBA).
? Relevant certifications (CPA equivalent or Certified Fraud Examiner)
? Experience working with US based companies
? Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, and PRC GAAP
? Self-starter, possess flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations
? Proven history of having worked effectively across cross-functional teams and business functions
