Archibat HR Asia is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER -FACADE ACCESS CONSULTING for a US GLOBAL CONSULTING FIRM to join their Shanghai office. With 33 offices worldwide, this international firm is the largest elevator consultant in the world.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop new clients
Sell and market company's consulting services to clients.
Submit proposals, book projects, bill work against projects, ensure client payments are collected on a timely basis.
Establish project objectives, schedules and deliverable requirements for the project team.
Initiate and maintain communication with clients’ Project Managers and other project team contacts to facilitate project activities.
Prepare reports, create specifications, review drawings and explain design intent.
Job site reviews of equipment and systems.
Represent company in project planning and coordination meetings
Monitor and control projects resources and provide direction of personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule, meet quality standards, and are within budget.
Participate in local and regional trade shows, conferences and client presentations.
Generate additional work opportunities with existing and new clients.
Maintain good client relations.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with an engineering design consultancy working on major mixed-use building construction projects in the Greater China region
Demonstrated knowledge of the building construction industry and experience with a manufacturer or distributor of façade access systems, (temporary or permanent), aerial work platforms, fall protection/safety equipment or other mechanical equipment (air handling, curtain wall, lighting systems, plumbing, electrical, etc.) that is designed, manufactured and installed on building construction projects
Degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related discipline
Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
Knowledge of project administration and management
Intermediate-level (or better) knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of CAD/Drawing software, ‘Bluebeam Revu’ PDF Editor and Project Time Recording system
Good communication and administration skills
High integrity, well-organized, hardworking, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
