Job Scope

·Operating infrastructure components, technical applications and databases, providing 2nd line support and, where appropriate, coordinating 3rd line support according to ITIL processes and IT SOPs and guidelines

·Defining infrastructure service requirements and operations acceptance criteria in collaboration with central IT and external service providers

·Monitoring, improving and reporting performance of infrastructure components, services and technical applications in the region

·Solving or escalating regional incidents and operating level breaches and preparing operating level reports

·Single Point of Contact representing relevant technical services in the region for the central IT Service Delivery team

·Ensuring central IT delivered services are utilized in line with IT policies and procedures

·Representing regional and local requirements in IT service governance

·Providing input into the IT Technical Service Responsibles in order to ensure that Regional requirements are considered as part of existing governance forums

·Supporting the IT Service Delivery Lead by promoting adoption of and leveraging centrally provided services in North Asia region.

Requirements

·Commercial or IT graduate (Bachelor’s degree level qualification e.g. BSc or BA) or equivalent experience

·Significant ‘hands-on’ experience of service support provisioning, service management processes i.e. ITIL

·Understanding of vendor and supplier management, particularly in regards to globally outsourced IT services

·Understanding of service support in a multi-tier architecture environment and IT systems and technologies

·Able to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both technical and non-technical

·Experience of working in a strongly regulated environment (SOPs, GxP, Quality Principles and Standards)

·Cross culture understanding and experience of working in an international environment

·Problem solving skills with the ability to analyze technical and business issues and determine solution options

·Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin with good written and spoken English

·Good written and spoken Korean desirable.
