Job Description

1. Perform internal review and contribute ideas to improve audit quality.
2. Participate in the development and maintenance of audit programs according to identified key audit risks and audit objectives.
3. Assist Audit Head to review Internal Audit Charter, Internal Audit Manual and other internal policies or procedures.
4. Lead Reviewer or member of a team delivering individual audits on time, on budget, to the required standard and provides value to the bank.
5. Document and keep track of audit workpapers in a timely manner and in accordance with department standards to documents evaluation of systems of internal controls, audit tests, results and conclusions.
6. Draft concise and precise audit reports and conduct audit finding follow-up and verification of issue closure.
7. Present constructive recommendations to management.
8. Stay abreast with local regulatory changes and assess their input on audit coverage requirements.
9. Assist Audit head and Audit Manager in the delivery of their role and responsibilities.
10. Other assignments as required.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years work experience in banking industry audit (big -4 is a plus)
2. Good overall understanding of risk management and controls
3. Knowledge of Audit Methodology and Internal Audit Standards
4. Exposure to various business/operation in the financial services industry
5. Relevant degrees; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA will be advantageous
6. Strong analytical skills, able to determine the root cause of audit findings and recommend constructive and cost-effective solutions
7. Fluent English
8. Able to establish effective working relationships and influence others
9. Ability to maintain an independent perspective
10. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and takes initiatives
11. Professional, acts with integrity and honesty
12. Able to handle concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment
