To Lead a painting engineering team to maintain processes and introduce new program.

Direct Reports to This Role

:

Painting /powder coating /printing engineer.

1)

Build-up reliable & stable painting process in order to ensure new products & project can be realized effectively according to schedule for mass production;

2)

Continuously improve painting process to improve efficiency/reliability and reduce cost of mass production;

3)

Build-up related procedure, WI and process data sheet of painting/powder coating/printing

4)

Trouble-shooting of painting/powder coating/printing rejection and process issue.

5)

Design painting jigs for plastic and metal components for IT and electronic products based on product and manufacturing requirements

6)

Liaise with customer to accomplish painting tasks

7)

Other work assigned by line manager

1)

Lead the department to pass internal & external audit

2)

Conducts training sessions on painting process and activities

3)

Develop new technic.

4)

Training the painting/powder coating /printing Engineer

1)

Bachelor degree holder, Major in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related;

1)

Good working knowledge and experience of painting/printing/powder coating processes and materials

2)

Technical knowledge and application skill in painting / printing/ powder coating processes development.

3)

Fluent in standard product/process release and documentation practices.

4)

Trouble-shooting and analytical skills (root cause analysis, DOE, FMEA, Statistical engineering) are preferred

5)

Be familiar with automation equipment of painting, including industry robot Painting.

6)

Knowledge in painting jig design for metal part is an asset

7)

Strong project management experience and skills

Good at MS office, AutoCAD, Pro/E

Good command of spoken and written English

More than 10 years experience of painting engineering in multi-national company.

Must be computer literate.
