Essential Responsibilities

Description: The focus of this role is planning and forecasting of the financials of a segment of the business and participation in simplification efforts. Duties include (but are not limited to): • Provide financial controllership and analytical support to China repair center, which includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting of Quarterly spend of China Repair center, setting of annual ICV stds, ARC stds and Plant liquidations. Managing base cost and variable cost of China RDC and supporting the Plant Operations leader in SII, OP, GPB financial planning. • Lead Asia GPRS material productivity financial analysis such as Swap, Repair, R2C, Hybrid, and Harvest [core management] • Lead Asia GPRS repair related financial analysis to tie out Material Productivity with regional Service teams and ensure strong controllership and good process rigor • Manage monthly estimation, closing and reporting of actual quarterly results. Provide insightful analysis of VOP and VPY for Asia GPRS on quarterly basis. • Lead FP&A Planning cycles for Asia GPRS, like GPB, Session II and Operating Plan in co-ordination with the functions and APAC, China and India GPRS regions. • Finance Liaison with Asia Pacific, China and India service to support DC margin pass and track Asia service sales revenue, margin. • • Participate in quarterly / yearly Accounting closing processes • Provide financial data to finance and operating teams in an effort to drive growth • Providing necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers; Identifying risks and opportunities throughout the quarter and developing processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities • Working with Finance Managers and operations leaders to drive opportunities for improvement in variable cost, base cost, and material variance and/or revenues etc. where possible Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required


Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or Numerate-based degree and 5years financial work experience; 1. Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner3. Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or graduate of other financial leadership programs 4. Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma5. Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc. Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc)6. Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change7. Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas8. Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations9. Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others10. Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills 11. Experience working in a matrixed environment
