Global Service Delivery
Within HSBC Technology and Services, Global Service Delivery is a business-aligned, customer-servicing organisation with the primary objective of driving operational excellence across our businesses worldwide. Achieving this through the consolidation, simplification and continuous improvement of processes across the full range of HSBC operations, the division simultaneously takes responsibility for managing operational, location and processing risk and ensuring that services provided are at a best-in-class price point for the required quality level.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Counter Service Officer Nantong.
In this role, you will:
·To ensure that adequate cash is maintained in the office at all times within the office’s cash holding limit;
·To deliver cash floats to tellers against their signed cash receipts and acknowledge excess cash returned by tellers by countersigning the cash receipts after counting;
·To counter-witness the accurate payments of notes to/from customers if it is exceeding teller limit;
·To record amount of cash delivered to/returned by tellers for day-end balancing of the cash position in the vault at branch level;
·To handle cash shipment booking with Local Bank;
·To handle customer’s cash booking.
·To ensure all transactions over counter are compliant with both regulations and internal requirement
·To ensure counter operation team to deliver high quality customer service
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
·Bachelor degree or above(recognized by the state);
·At least 5 years’ counter service experiences, with supervisory experience preferred;
·Good understanding of local rules and regulations and internal guidelines;
·Strong sense of responsibility;
·Good communication skills;
·Be able to work under pressure.
