Printing and Personal Systems Group Supply Chain (PPS SC) Engineering organization is responsible to develop and drive consistent word-class supply chain engineering and quality solutions into PC products and manufacturing sites across Global Business Units (GBU) and Regions.
More specifically, this organization is managing the full life cycle (development, validation, setup, deployment and support) of Process Engineering IT tools/processes/infrastructure allowing software (SW) installation, test and diagnostics as well as unit configuration of PCs. These are being used by R&D teams as well as manufacturing sites for PCs as a Pan HP system consisting of servers and customized HP software, linked over HP network, dedicated line or Internet.
Job Description
As part of the WW system and software development, deployment and support team, your role is to:
? Perform factory site visit to investigate and resolve critical issues
? Provide 2nd level support to help desk, HP factories, labs, and partners, for issues related to software installation, connectivity and infrastructure. Make this as #1 task
? Provide solution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) and assist in issue resolution or escalation
? Develop and manage Server Setup process for software installation servers worldwide. This task is less important as compared to the next one.
? Define and measure metrics to optimize results
? Ensure support processes are documented and followed
? Define and implement improvements as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:
? Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
? 6+ years hands-on experience in IT industry, computer manufacturing, working with network, database, operating system and software application
? 2+ years working as system administrator for Windows Server 2003 or later and SQL 2005 or later
? Excellent knowledge and experience in system/network infrastructure and connectivity & tools deployment and support, particularly in Enterprise environments
? Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
? Familiar with server class hardware and configuration
? Excellent knowledge of computer manufacturing build process and quality assurance
? Speak, write English and good communication skill
? Experience in a technical support environment, knowledge of basic principles of IT standards - ITIL incident and problem management
? Achieved MS Certifications on Windows Server Administrator, Database Administrator, highly preferred MS Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 and SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012
? Experiences with B2B/EDI
? Amounts of domestics and international travel up to 20% expected
