Major Description:

1.Reporting to the VP of Manufacture
2.Leading the sourcing team in sourcing from existing and new vendors and managing existing suppliers for all materials and components related to production and contract manufacturing
3.Responsible for vendor qualification and assessment
4.Work closely with internal teams to provide sourcing solutions to develop new products.
5.Responsible for strategic planning and process optimization of the supply chain operations across the Company and achieving strategic business goals and objectives in quality, costs and delivery etc
6.Bring value to the Company by sourcing and developing competitive relationships for all major direct materials suppliers (PCB/PCBA, sub-assembly, top assembly, power supplier, metalwork, key and critical components, coatings etc). With a strong emphasis on the development and management of PBN strategic vendors
7.Identify supply chain solutions to improve their manufacturing efficiencies, timing, quality, and deliverables, resulting in more competitive product costs.
8.Liaising with all offices and other key team members in the Company, ensure that effective supplier valuation and management is optimized
9.Ensure the forecast accuracy and conduct inventory (warehouse) control, analysis and status reporting
10.Make up material requirements based on material information, following up and checking for short / new materials
11.Control and adjust material planning, using automated material planning system.

Knowledge & Skill requirements :

1.Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Sully Chain Management / Logistic related disciplines
2.Candidates with professional qualifications in purchasing with electronics education background are preferred.
3.At least 7 years of sourcing experience where 3 years is in a management capacity.
4.Proficient in sourcing components and materials to PCB level
5.Possess strong both internal and external presentation and negotiation and inter-personnel communication skills and be proficient in English, and Mandarin.
6.Strong planning and analytical skills with business acumen and numerate sense
7.Familiar with ERP system
