Reporting to the Director, Operational Excellence, this position is accountable for leading process improvement projects in support of Top-Co’s strategic goals. The chosen candidate will lead cross-functional teams to determine the root cause of problems and implement sustainable solutions. The preferred approach to business process improvement will be to use 6 Sigma methodologies through DMAIC or DMEDI projects. This position offers the incumbent a professional challenge and a high degree of independence, visibility and responsibility.

This role will be actively involved in initiatives aimed at the following goals throughout all functional areas of Top-Co:
1 improving efficiency
2 reducing costs
3 meeting customer needs
4 improving employee development and satisfaction
5 managing risks, and/or
6 increasing profitability through process change

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Executing projects to meet goals & objectives
2 Facilitating team meetings and training and mentoring project team members
3 Influencing and obtaining commitment from all levels of the business regarding changes to be implemented
4 Identifying barriers to project success and soliciting help from champions when needed
5 Creating project charters/plans or business cases to support improvement ideas
6 Preparing presentations, executive summaries, project updates and presenting findings to stakeholders and management
7 Assisting the team in a hands-on manner with implementing operational improvements
8 Assessing current state and gathering requirements on desired future state
9 Creating scope documents, working with the IT department to create and beta test programs
10 Designing, testing and implementing solutions and changes to current processes Understanding detailed process knowledge and preparing training documentation or work instructions
11 Creating training and communication plans to facilitate improvements
12 Possessing strong analytical skills and business operations knowledge to interpret information and make data driven decisions
13 Conducting post-implementation reviews on the effectiveness & sustainability of the projects


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Requirements:
1 Post secondary education in Business (particularly Operations Management) or Engineering
2 3 – 5 years work experience in an Operations or Engineering environment

Preferences:
1 Cross-functional experience in a manufacturing setting
2 Previous leadership experience
3 6 Sigma Black Belt certification or familiarity with 6 Sigma methodologies
4 Formal training or experience with Lean Manufacturing

拓普克天津公司的生产工艺属于高技术、高精度和低排放的机械加工，生产自动化程度较高，产品全部销往国际市场。TOP-CO公司计划用10年的时间将它在全球80%的产能逐步转入拓普克天津公司。拓普克天津公司预计2014年产品出口额为4000万美元，2015年将达到1.2亿美元。
2012年3月6日，TOP-CO公司签订了租用东疆保税港区二期海泽物流园5号和6号厂房的合同，厂房总面积为10358平方米，租期为20年，预计工厂开工时间为2012年10月1日。拓普克天津公司现内设生产部、商务部、人力资源部、财务部等部门，公司总经理由母公司选派，副总经理及下属员工在国内公开招聘，员工总数预计为150—200人。
