Role Summary/Purpose

Diagnostic Imaging (DI), the biggest performance contributor to GEHC China, is a $682 MM business in terms of sales in 2012 at a growth rate of 24% which accounted for more than half of total China HCS sales in 2012.

Essential Responsibilities

DI FP&A analyst is responsible for supporting the overal DI FP&A Manager on various activities: 1) consolidate data and prepare reports; 2) manage OVC / materail variance and FX in DI level; 3) drive OVC related productivity projects with operating teams and GM; 4) work with controllership team to increase OVC visibility; 5) tracking simplification projects of DI finance. The position play critical role in communicating with broad statkeholders including modality and region finance, controllership, FP&A HQ, service, DI GM etc in these activities.
This role is an unique opportunity for candidate to develop in-depth expertise in FP&A and strong leadership in a highly matrix organisation with such a big portfolio, she/he will not only be expected to consolidate data and prepare reports, but also verify and challenge multiple data input and ensure the output with high quality based on good business understanding, she/he will get great opportunities to work with diversified stakeholders and learn from them. Critical thinking and communication competence are the most important attributes for the candidate to be a success in this position.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results with operational performance drivers; think of and drive positive changes;
2. Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully involved in cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to learn quickly;
3. Excellent communication skills: able to work across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing;
4. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup)
5. Fluency in English
