Job Title:
Management Trainee

Work Location:
Guangzhou, Shenzhen (possible for job rotation during the training period or after graduation, depending on company's business need)

Program Overview:
To strengthen future management team in China Region and support strategic business development, OOCL Logistics is going to select high potential employees externally, cultivate them to be our future business backbones. Through the program, the candidates will acquire all-rounded and end-to-end functional business knowledge and have comprehensive working experience with different model leaders, in the long run to utilize their full potential for organizational performance as well as their individual career.

Program Objective:
Upon completion of the program, trainee will be assigned to work in mid-level management positions in China, subject to trainee's progress, performance and mutual agreement.

Program Duration:
Two years

Program Framework:
The trainees will undergo focal on-job training and/or orientation sessions in following areas, ranging from frontline to strategic planning functions:

· learning opportunities to gain exposure from regional group practice and corporate department functions to build their global comprehension of the corporate business scope and the operations of the host department
· on-job coaching by China corporate and regional business departments'leaders
· practical business and operations training in first-tier office
· classroom training to gain an overall fundamental business concept in shipping or logistic industry
· classroom training to develop managerial concepts and skills and enhance personal effectiveness

The trainees will also be assigned special projects to acquire understanding in supporting functions and gain the opportunity to communicate and cooperate cross department to synergize internal and external resources.
The trainees will also be required to take a role in organizing company event, in order to develop their leadership and organizational skills other than the formal assignments during the training period.

Requirement for Eligible Applicants:
· Under two years' working experience
· Bachelor Degree or above in "211 project" universities
· Good spoken and written English with CET 6 or equivalent level
· Good sense of business acumen and potential to be developed
· Long term plan in developing their career in shipping & logistics industry with OOCL
· Strong sense of personal integrity and analytical skills
· Innovation with high self-initiative and good communication and interpersonal skills
