Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in China/Taiwan in line with the commodity strategies, develop and optimize the supplier pool of China/Taiwan by working with our plants;
Implement procurement strategies for different product categories in aspect of technology trend, supplier analysis, pricing and development, and meanwhile eatablish the bench-marking;
Negotiate contracts and cost break down with suppliers;
Maintain partnership with supliers by creating a collaborative and open relationship;
Build a competitive network of quality suppliers throughout China/Taiwan and develop Preferred Suppliers to meet future requirements;
Develop strategies together with operative purchasing and SQE to improve suppliers’ KPI performance;
Monitor deliveries in terms of timeliness, support SQE to resolve quality issues for new and existing items;
Perform sourcing in line with the commodity strategy to meet project targets;
Partially be responsible for the operational procurement of a range of product materials for pumps & valves and commodities including “on-the-shelf” products, electric motors, etc. in China/Taiwan;



Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from four-year college or university;
Owning professional know-how in procurement ;
Fluent English in both speaking and writing;
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
Judgment skill and commercial awareness;
Able to work under pressure and strong desire to achieve aggressive targets;
Around 5 years’ advanced purchasing experience working in multinational manufacturing environment, pump and/or valve industry preferred.
