职位描述
* Management activities:
- Responsible for managing current team: 1 full time inspector + 1 coordinator (team is expected to grow by Q1 2011)
- Checking inspection & audit reports results before sending them out
(this is quite time intensive)
- Checking received Inspection reports from 3rd parties
- Ensuring the templates we use are complete & accurate (based on
product safety, performance & quality norms in countries of dispatch)
- Ensuring we are always being updated about latest regulations
changes & apply them to internal templates / reports, inspections,
tests etc...
- Providing weekly reporting to Top management


*Lab activities
- Tests: performance of all tests for our products (Endurance,
heating, construction, safety, performance etc)
- Ensuring we have the correct test equipment & are performing our
internal tests as per regulations (equipment well calibrated etc)
- Ensuring the lab is equipped with necessary knowledge of standards
(EN, ISO etc)
- Ensuring tests are performed according to international standards
- Providing training when needed to colleagues
- Providing technical support to Product Management department


* Inspections to manage:
- Pre Shipment Inspections
- Container Loading inspections
- Supplier Audits (Technical, Social etc...)
- DUPRO (During production)

etc...

Industry knowledge required:

- LED finished products (lamps, bulbs, spots etc)
- Kitchen appliances
- Floorcare



Profile:
- Relevant engineering background
- Minimum work experience: 5 years
- Good English, written & spoken
- Self confident & self Motivated
- Good sense of responsibility
- Management skills
- Organised
