Competence brief:

? This position will manage 3 core areas of logistic operations, planning & purchase, HSE ( or customer fulfillment function might be incorporated into Sales department head function)- a domestic, east-China focused , marine logistic & land logistic combined operating models for manufacturing products that are largely sold to large industrial key accounts. The person in this role will have primary responsibility for managing a team to conduct activities in 3 core areas, meeting logistic operating excellence, planning liaison role with company' other Corporative JV sales department, and external 3rd party service providers (truck company, shipping company, shore tank companies, 3rd party quality control company etc) and thus plays vital role in liaison and implement company equity marketing venture supply chain and logistic management role. This role might be assisted by deputy Supply Chain manager or supervisor

? Ability to communicate with various external and internal stake holders (vendors, J/V Chinese partners, customers, co-producers counter partners)
? Capable to work in a complex environment there are secondee staff from either side of share holders while there are large portion of JV staff.

? Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and work in a team environment in new setup.

Demonstrated results must include

? Experience at least in one or two areas with proven record ( land logistic , marine logistic, planning , HSE)
? Ability to form relationship with equity JV other departments (Sales, Finance etc) as well as relationship with Corporative JV corresponding departments and Chinese partner counter parties.

Qualifications

? Bachelor degree in Business Administration;
? 8 years supply chain operations experience with at least 5 years in the manufacture industry; experience in a joint venture environment is preferable;
? Good understanding of the manufacture industry and the China logistics infrastructure, and hands-on experience of the order fulfillment processes;
? Strong problem solving skills and able to make sound judgment with business sense;
? Good interpersonal and communications skills
