Our Vision for Market Research:
Discover consumer/customer insights and trends and translate these into actionable business results that fuel corporate growth, both in adapting to and leading change in the marketplace. Be an effective business partners, sought for ability to provide value-added knowledge gained through research expertise in consumer understanding.
Candidate will have full responsibility for all consumer research-related activities with regards to Heinz Long Fong.

Job Description:
?Determining customer and consumer research needs by working with marketing, product development, and trade marketing.
oEnsuring consumer is top of mind for business decisions
?Gathering and analyzing secondary research on various topics using sources that will yield the most relevant results
?Executing consumer-oriented programs that would increase rate of success for new products
?Driving business, product, and marketing strategies by providing insights obtained through primary research and analysis of wide variety of secondary data sources
oSharing accountability for the outcome of organizational actions taken based on recommendations made
?Coordinating and analyzing primary research which could include research on topics such as new product ideas, advertising effectiveness, and new packaging or labeling.
oEfficiently developing study specifications and methodology to meet the above-mentioned constituency needs
oHandling research responsibilities for the respective brand teams
oSelecting vendors and managing projects
?Acting as a driver for objective, data-driven solutions
oOrganizing data in a logical manner to clearly communicate findings in a research report
oDemonstrating the ability to communicate and leverage market research insights in a way that influences business decisions
oLogically defending research conclusions as well as explaining alternatives not chosen
?Making insightful analyses and providing reasoned solutions to specific business issues
oWriting, editing, and preparing correspondence as required for timely, professional internal and external communications
oClearly expressing ideas, direction, methodology, results, and recommendations in reports and in meetings
?Serve as key contact with Nielsen and own responsibility for monthly reporting output
?Capability Building
oAssist with training broader organization on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
oAssist with shaping the long term vision for the Heinz Long Fong Consumer & Customer Insight Function
oDetermine appropriate business KPI’s and sequence of reports (such as equity tracking, awareness tracking, attitudes & usage, etc.)
oStrengthen the Heinz Long Fong new product development evaluation process
oBring forward new ideas to strengthen efficiency of brand team

Position qualifications:
?Educational requirement: Bachelor or above

?Working Experience and Technical Skill required
oAt least 6 years research experience; In-house research or FMCG research is a plus
oMust have comprehensive knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies, strong project planning & management skills, experience with syndicated data as well as adhoc consumer research experience.
oBuild and sustain mutually beneficial and strategic partnerships with external research agencies so as to foster good working relationships and deliver against business needs – specifically: evaluate proposals, negotiate fees, select research partners and monitor product & service quality.
oProblem solving attitude and be result orientated
oInitiative, flexibility, open communication, collaboration
oEffective communication abilities – both written & verbal
oFluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both orally and written required.
oComputer literacy i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word and basic database management skills
