POSITION SUMMARY:
Identify, research and analyze regional market trends/situations, business opportunities and new technologies that can generate breakthrough growth opportunities. Develop and execute a regional product marketing plan that includes product road maps, go-to-market strategies, and life cycle management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
? Marketing
o Collect, analyze, and report on regional market information, competitive information, and market intelligence.
o Evaluate and track the impact of global technology trends and external drivers on customer needs, market conditions, customer business plans and objectives, customers’ expectations, buying behaviors, and pricing.
o Work with global marketing and product planning team to perform comprehensive analysis of vertical markets in region.
o Identify product specifications to generate the development of global product platforms and region specific product needs.
? Product Management
o Serve as project manager for development and launch of new products.
o Manage cross-functional development team including commercial, engineering, and operations.
o Develop and implement commercial strategy for new product launch, including the creation of fight sheets, brochures, and identification of target customers
o Assure establishment of manufacturing process, including ramp-up, documentation, and testing.
? Inorganic Strategy
o Research and analyze adjacent markets and products to identify the competitive advantage technologies for new and existing segments.
o Identify, evaluate and screen potential partners and acquisition targets.
o Cultivate relationships with inorganic partners
o Manage merger and acquisition process from start to finish, including identification, cultivation, and transaction


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

? Bachelor degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline
? MBA or similar desirable
? Strong interpersonal and good verbal/written communication skills are necessary
? International business experience desirable
? Reporting and presentation capabilities
? Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, segmentation, data mining and analysis skills
? Extensive knowledge of how to analyze markets, technologies and business opportunities using Excel, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
? 3 or more years experience in the motion control business or in a related technical industry
? Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data, and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations
? Able to gather information directly from the customer
? Project management skills
? Fluency in English and Chinese
