职位描述(Job Descriptions)：
1.Works with the QA staff and shift production leadership to maintain supervisory continuity and consistency across the QC staff.　
2.Provides lab supervision during QA absences.
3.Participates in performing and presenting employee appraisals.
4.Inspects and audits work performed to insure the tasks meet all established company standards for safety, quality and quantity.
5.Maintains a documented technician proficiency program, including site administration of the company-wide laboratory cross-check program and other outside programs. (CRA, EPA, DMR-QA, API, etc.)
6.Serves as internal auditor of all laboratory programs, works to identify weaknesses and develops improvement plans and corrective actions.
7.Maintains a current knowledge of all lab analysis and program requirements throughout the plant site and takes action to ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment is performed.
8.Addresses employee concerns, maintains good communications and morale.
9.Keeps the Quality Manager appraised of all matters affecting the laboratories and department employees.
10.Maintains an attitude that accidents are preventable.
11.Identifies training needs and trains new employees and works with employees in developing a high level of skill and proficiency.
12.Performs sampling and analysis duties temporarily for short periods of time during emergencies or employee training.
13.Interviews applicants applying for lab positions and discusses applicants suitability for the position with the plant Human Resource Manager.
14.Maintains discipline within the department and discusses the need for appropriate disciplinary action with the Quality Manager and Human Resource Manager.
15.Provides back-up quality department leadership for customers and production.　Represents the Columbus quality department at meetings such as: daily production, safety, supervisors, etc.
16.Shares (50% minimum) of product approval and shipment duties with the Quality Manager.
17.Assures the safety of department personnel through compliance Encourages subordinates to develop ideas for improvements which may contribute to improved efficiency and safety.
18.Informs supervisor immediately of any hazards, unsafe equipment and/or acts.　Additionally reports immediately any accidents, injuries and near misses to supervisor.
19.Participates actively in training.
20.Reports to work in a condition to be able to perform all duties.
21.Practices proper personal hygiene.
22.Familiarizes themselves with the hazards in their work area and how to protect themselves.
23.Understands that accidents are preventable and that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
24.Performs reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.

?Strong knowledge of wet milling, laboratory or related industry operations
?Extensive safety training
?Technical, chemical or managerial degree preferred
?Communication training
?Management experience (2 years minimum)
?Knowledge of/or experience with employment law
?Demonstrated strong team building skills (communicates goals and rallies support to achieve goals)
?Proven decision making ability
?Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (including strong computer skills)
?Good organizational skills (prioritization of tasks, developing of goals)
?Ability to motivate and train employees

?Excellent safety awareness/attitude
?Strong documentation skills
?Ability to mentor (coach, counsel, and nurture employees)
