职位描述
MAJOR PURPOSE:
Provides daily supervision of administrative and technical issues involving a functional group of engineers and engineering support personnel who work on a project or a specific portion of a project for a program using the Enterprise Product Delivery Process . May also be responsible for Product Verification and Validation (PV&V) groups to achieve timely completion of scheduled tests, improve test cycle times and reduce iterations. Smaller group size generally consisting of less than 10 and limited responsibility outside the functional area.
MAJOR DUTIES:
. Supervises the implementation of a project or a specific portion of a project for a program using Enterprise Product Delivery Processto ensure that the product program goals are met. Has limited responsibility outside the functional area.
. Leads in resolution of product-line based difficult technical issues whether within the company or with outside suppliers.
. Exchanges necessary information with other functional groups.
. Provides leadership and counsel to less experienced employees.
. Performs administrative duties related to performance management, salary pay plan, succession planning, resource planning, training, and development of direct reports.
. Develops tracks and meets capital and expense budget for area of responsibility.

. Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
. Knowledge of Product Delivery Process programs.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
. Knowledge of industry Product Verification & Validation processes and execution methodologies.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
. Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
. Fundamental skills in Engineering Principles such as Forces, Stress, and Material Properties etc.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
. Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
-Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Education:
-Masters degree or equivalent
-University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
. Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience.
. Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience.
Relevant Work Experiences:
. Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
. Product engineering experience.
. Product engineering management experience.
. Product or service development leadership experience, such as running a major product or service program.
. Product design experience.
. Product design, test and/or analysis experience.
