Piping Engineer at OSBL Module Fabrication Yard
Work Location: Tanggu, Tianjin

Join Bechtel and help build the facilities for the energy of the future. The Wheatstone LNG Project is a multi-train Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and domestic gas (DomGas) plant near Onslow Australia. Bechtel is honored to participate in the engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up of this LNG plant. This position will be located at the subcontractor’s facility in Tanggu China.

General Responsibilities:
Heavy piping experience. Review of pressure test packages, spot check review and approval of piping fabrication drawings, ITPs, hydro test and pneumatic test packages, help generate instrumentation air line isometrics that are not in the model, flange management oversite, interface with subcontractor with Smart Plant Review model support.

Specific Duties:
1. Spot check and review of fabrication drawings
2. Respond to RFIs
3. Assist in review of Work Packages
4. Assist field construction engineers (check-out of fabrication & installation, ITPs, quality, etc.)
5. Review installation of special supports, spring hangers, anchors, etc.
6. Review of final documentation
7. Assist material manager as required
8. Assist in review of pressure test packages
9. Interface with the subcontractor (SP3D model, drawing interpretation, document control, etc.)
10. Home office interface, DCNs, review of redlined as-builts
11. Strong English language skills required
