Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
• A key member of GE Intelligent Platforms, Greater China senior leadership team, leading a team of sales and applications staff to drive business growth in northeastern, northern and northwestern China. • Develop and execute regional operating plan of growth and profitability. • Lead 3-year strategic planning for the region. • Champion business innovation for increased profitability and competitiveness. • Explore and win emerging growth opportunities. • Identify product and business solutions for adjacent and white spaces. • Build long-term partnership with Design Institutes, EPC’s, OEM’s, SI’s, and Key Accounts. • Drive growth of distribution channels and business partners. • Build a competent team of compliance and quality for sustainable growth.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Only the best. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Communications Engineering, or above. • Minimum 15-year commercial experience in automation industry with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. • Solid domain knowledge in the Chinese automation industries, vertical markets and the competitive landscape. • Technically competent with end-to-end expertise and successful track record in leading cross-functional teams with demonstrated inclusive leadership skills to motivate, influence and drive changes at all levels across the organization for business excellence. • Strong ability to guide and influence customers at all levels and of various functions. • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in crisis management. • Strong analytical skills and execution capabilities. • Customer centric, growth driven, service and quality oriented. • Say-Do accountability and tenacity to follow through tough missions and complex business issues. • Team builder with strong ability to energize and inspire others and to lead by example. • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both listening and presentation. • High proficiency in English and Chinese languages, both written and verbal. • Certified Six-Sigma Practitioner, a desirable qualification.
