Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the quality of China tax returns prepared for GE businesses • Support the development/improvement of Standard Operation Process for the China Tax CoE team • Work closely with corporate tax and business tax leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values • Support on tax audit, CAS audit, and KPMG statutory audit report items related to CIT • Support other tax projects on as needed basis • Coach people on project • Be responsive to many stakeholders at once.

Qualifications/Requirements

 At least 5 years of China tax experience in major international accounting firms or equivalent experience in multi-national companies Experience in handling tax audits and working directly with local tax officials Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, and ability to win the confidence of internal and external stakeholders Ability to multi-task, execute on projects independently, while working closely with colleagues in a matrix team Self-starter Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.
