Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

•To support a large engineering team with tool expertise •To provide DO-178B tool qualification support •Provide verification and certification support to engineering teams •To manage the procurement of tools

Qualifications/Requirements

•Accredited Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science•Minimum of 2 years of working experience within a software avionics project•Software development and or verification experience•Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle•Good verbal and written English skills•Self-motivation together with proven problem solving skills•Willingness to learn and apply knowledge•Strong reporting skills

Desired Characteristics

•Experience of DO-178B tool qualification•Working knowledge of Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow•Working knowledge of SCADE tools•Working knowledge of Matlab and SCADE scripting language•Java and/or C# tool development expertise•Industrial certification support experience, preferably aerospace•Tool acquisition and license management experience•Script based tool development experience
