Role Summary/Purpose

The IM Project Leader is responsible for the implementation of IT and simplification projects in China. As part of the China IT team you will focus on enabling a multi-million dollar P&L. You will work with the regional and global IT team, functional Leaders and management team to drive initiatives in China that will grow the business, drive operational excellence and increase productivity.

Essential Responsibilities

'- Be the focal point and liaison between the IT team and the functional and business stakeholders in China. - Be well versed in the Industrial Solutions IT strategy and work with functional leaders to drive critical projects and initiatives in the region. - Responsible for the demand management process by understanding the business needs and align IT initiatives accordingly. - Responsible for project management and execution: defining functional and technical specifications, managing vendor resources, drive testing, and conduct end-user training. - Provide visibility to key milestones and deliverables through Program management and tollgate processes. - Be a key contributor in the regional IT team, develop multi-generation plans for tools and processes and align with the regional business initiatives and growth strategy. - IT representative for simplification projects in China. Support the business functions in leaning processes and reducing waste. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma concepts to identify opportunities. - Leverage regional, global and partner resources to deliver according commitment.

Qualifications/Requirements

'- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Management.- 3-5 years’ experience as an IT project leader, with a demonstrated ability to lead medium to large IT projects enabling OTR or ITO processes.- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management. Preferably as part of an IT demand management process.- Expertise in Oracle databases, Web Programming or Oracle ERP systems.- Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills- Experience with vendor management

Desired Characteristics

- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred- Able to use Lean tools and techniques to drive change- Quality and cost driven
