Role Summary/Purpose
OMS/FRS System Manager manages the Onboard Maintenance System (OMS) and Flight Recording System (FRS) System team. He directly reports to the Director.

Essential Responsibilities
•Provide leadership and technical direction for assigned tasks and personnel team to meet the goal of each year. •Provide support council and recommendations to director. •Establish system team goals within framework of section technical and financial objectives, and lead the team to meet goals. •Make the plan for the system team and make sure the team follows the plan. •Manage the team’s performance and flow down the goal and objective to the team. •Manage the team’s Individual Development Plans. •Coordinate with Avionics System team and other support teams to make sure the plan can work. •Lead coordination with suppliers about the requirements, architecture and ICD. Make sure the sourced designs will meets functional requirements and integrate with other aircraft sub-systems. •Lead the team to follow the AVIAGE SYSTEMS process and rules. •Other activities, as assigned, such as customer and regulatory agency audits.

Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor of Science in engineering. Electrical preferred.•At least 5 years’ experience in systems engineering and/or requirements development and management•Strong organizational skills•Strong oral and written communication skills in English language•Positive leadership and interpersonal characteristics•Bachelor Degree in engineering, Aeronautical, Electrical, Computer, or equivalent

Desired Characteristics
•Familiarity with Onboard Maintenance System and Flight Recording Systems for commercial aircraft•Familiarity with industry standards and specifications associated with Onboard Maintenance System and Flight Recording Systems for commercial aircraft•Familiarity with system development, including requirements, architecture and ICD.•Leadership qualities – self directing, confident presence, visionary and team motivator. •Good at management skills•Master Degree in related engineering Field OMS/FRS System Manager manages the Onboard Maintenance System (OMS) and Flight Recording System (FRS) System team.
