Role Summary/Purpose

Configuration Mgmt (CM): Perform Formal CM of Products developed by the Engineering Teams and support Developmental CM per EIA-649-B compliant processes Data Mgmt (DM): Coordinate&perform formal delivery of Engineering Artifacts to customers per contractual requirements, receipt of formal deliveries of Engineering Artifacts from Suppliers. Technical Writing Services (TWS): Support generation of Engineering documentation from tools and perform the document release process per company standards

Essential Responsibilities

The lead coordinates the daily operation of the ES team activities to serve the Engineering Organization’s needs: -Ensures that the Engineering Services team performs its activities in accordance with in-force Processes. -Allocates tasks within the team to meet demands of a given functional area. -Provides status reports and metrics to the Team Manager and Program Manager. -Supports preparation of budget and resourcing profiles to meet project demands. -Performs line-manager tasks for annual goal setting and performance reviews. -Assesses and identifies areas for process improvement, capability building and training.

Qualifications/Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or high school diploma/GED with at least ten years’ experience in industry, preferable Aviation.-Engineering team management experience.-Strong English language communication (specifically writing) skills.-Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills.-Clear logical thinker with ability to follow instruction/procedures rigorously.-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.-Knowledge and experience of the following with a strong ability to learn new skills;*Electronic publishing and printing.*Configuration Management in accordance with EIA-649-B*Data Management/ Business Administration*Product Lifecycle Management tools (PTC Windchill preferred).
