Senior Strategic Market Analyst
Working Location: Shanghai
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Market Analysis
- Segment analysis size, growth and trend
- Create competitor database, analyze competitors’ marketing activity and strategy
- Analyze customer base in both covered geographic area and potential areas.
Market Development Projects
- Conduct market survey on the potential new opportunities, customer needs, satisfactions, etc. with internal resources or through 3rd party
- Identify new opportunities, new market segments by working together with commercial team
Internal Data Analysis
- Internal sales or cost data analysis according to the requirement of special strategic planning projects
- Adhoc data analysis requirement based on inquiries
Regular market intelligence reports
- Issue internal economic indicators
- Issue China Flashes every 2 months, competitive news flash
- Maintain market intelligence sharepoint
REQUIRES: (Functional/Technical Skills & Knowledge)
- 4+ years experience in market analysis, market research or industry analysis. Prior experience in consulting, market research firms or industry research from banking, investment or security companies.
- Finance & accounting knowledge will be a definite plus
- Bachelor & above degree in marketing, business, finance
- Good English in both writing and speaking
- Strong skill in excel, powerpoint. Knowledge in database management will be a plus.
