职位描述
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
?Leadership and management of project team
?Manage the implementation of new warehouse operations
?Manage and develop the warehouse operations once established to ensure budget targets and Customer Service is delivered
?Create and develop a strong operational team in each of the DC’s
?Assistance on the development of Operations Excellence
Specific responsibilities of the position:
?Support the Solutions Design team during the tender stage and contract negotiation to ensure credible operations are agreed and delivered
?Implement and manage warehousing project by applying the standard implementation methodology
?Develop the project management tools (e.g. project plan, control gate sheet, communication matrix, risks and issues log, etc.)
?Ensure all operations are working to the appropriate best standards in terms of visual management, safety and security
?Develop the standard operating procedure (SOP) and work instruction (WI) for the operations
?Execute the Operations Excellence standard to the operations across the Region
?Monitor the project implementation cost against the budgeted cost
?Conduct the operations review and identify the optimization opportunity
?Promote and establish good relationships and interaction with key parties including the CL Operations, Joint Ventures, IT, HSSE, Solutions Design, Commercial and local government bodies
?Establish a team of solid CL operators who will be able to ensure the continuity of the business; strength in depth
?Assist training and the development of CL operational skills in the NAS organisation
?Ensure flawless customer service to ensure client retention through the achievement of agreed KPI’s
?Able and willing to travel based on business requirements
Measurement / success criteria of the position:
?The successful implementation of warehouse projects satisfying client demands
?Achievement of budget and forecast profits for the operations
?The control of project implementation costs as agreed
?Follow the standard implementation methodology
General expectations to you as a leader:
As a member of the CL leadership team you are expected to be a role model in all aspects of the job and drive and take ownership of all issues within your area of responsibility as well as other unaddressed issues, which come to your attention.
You are expected to challenge the status quo, speak up, and question issues you do not understand or agree to. Also when they originate from higher levels in the organization!
Once decisions and policies have been challenged and discussed you are expected to back the decision or policy allowing the management team to act as one. Justifying or communication an issue by saying "The manager said so" or similar is not acceptable.
You are expected to handle your work independently, but also to involve your manager when you need assistance and when it is relevant for your manager to be briefed about a specific issue, risk or development.
In all aspects you are expected to be solution oriented – i.e. when you bring up issues you are expected to bring up suggested solutions at the same time along the thought of “If we're not part of the solution then we're part of the problem!”
You are expected to join the weekly management meeting as well as the monthly regional management meeting to share best practices, creating a team and stay in regular contact. If you cannot attend your deputy should represent you.
You are expected to travel to the extent required by the company.
Where applicable you will be provided with the training needed to do the tasks expected. Please pro-actively request relevant training.

Specific requirements for the position:
?Good in project management skills
?Possess experience in project implementation, solutions design, operations excellence, or logistics management in China or North Asia Region
?Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution knowledge
?Advanced MS Project, PowerPoint and Visio knowledge
?Well organized and independent to prioritise and meet deadlines
?Good commercial and operational business sense, a genuine interest and passion for customer business
?Possess initiative, drive, enthusiasm and effective, creative problem solving skills
?Approachable and open to explore and implement new ideas and solutions when required
?Good communication skills
?Basic understanding of finance
?Knowledge of local contract logistics market
?6 to 8 years Transport and Warehousing experience
?Good of proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
