职位描述

Summary:
Be responsible for overall transportation and customer service activities for Hershey Greater China.
This role will manage Hershey Greater China Distribution. Manage carriers performance, ensure carrier’s daily operation aligned with SOP, products be delivered and arrived at customer side on time and in good condition, KPI measurement and billing. Manage reserve transportation, ensure operation align with SOP and be conducted on time. Find solutions for daily transportation issues and process optimization. Fully understand the reefer truck market and other companies’ practice, initiative for transportation solutions to meet business needs and cost saving. Manage vendor sourcing, conduct yearly transportation RFP and contract negotiation.
This role also manages customer service, team report to the role will be the only contact window for China customer/Sales inquiries, provide solutions, make sure good logistics service are provided.
Be responsible for system optimization and operation. Requires interaction with Hershey Greater China Customers, key accounts, city distributors, Sales team, Demand/Supply planning, Marketing, Manufacturing, Co-Manufacturing, QRC, Finance, IS, GSS etc.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for transportation management for Hershey Greater China. Supervise daily operations, ensure products be delivered and arrived at customer side on time and in good condition. Supervise reverse transportation, ensure on time pick up at customer side and deliver back to Hershey on time. Daily operation optimization and SOP update, transportation capacity assurance. Daily transportation issue solution
- Supervisor daily operations of all transportation in GreaterChina, conduct efficient coordination to ensure every process been implemented correctly and timely
- Manage carrier’s truck to pick up products at warehouse on time according to the picking schedule, on time pick up rate: 98%
- Manage carrier to arrive at customer side within transportation lead time, on time delivery: 99.5%
- Control transportation damage by case within 0.05%
- Supervise return order be delivered back to Hershey on time and per requested
- Manage and ensure trucks meet quality standards be used during whole transportation
- Manage carrier KPI and conduct monthly operation review meeting

- Be responsible for transportation SOP
- Negotiate with carrier to ensure daily transportation capacity based on forecast
- Solve daily transportation issues, such as customer complain
2. Be responsible for carrier sourcing to meet business development, initiatives for better transportation solution and cost saving. Yearly carrier RFP and contract negotiation
- Keep up with the reefer truck market development, familiar with the reefer truck suppliers.
- Collect and fully understand transportation practices for similar cold chain companies. Initiatives to use other company’s best practice to optimize transportation network, provide transportation solutions based on business needs.
- Be sensitive and keep up with the market transportation price.
- Initiatives for transportation cost savings.
- Conduct yearly carrier RFP and negotiate transportation contract.
3. Be responsible for China order to cash process, from order receiving to goods arrival at customer side, manage the team and be the only contact window for China customer/Sales inquiries, provide solutions, make sure good logistics service are provided.
- receiving customer order, coordinate with customers/Sales if the orders do not meet Hershey requirement.
- coordinate with GSS to entering the order into SAP
- Follow up customer payment with customers and finance
- Coordinate with GSS to issue DN after receiving customer payment
- release order to warehouse
- Truck planning and booking
- transportation tracing, on time & in good condition;
- transportation/customer claims and compensation coordination and follow up
- customer complain/inquiry handling
- billing/invoice
- Key performance indicator tracking and reporting
- Process set up and optimization, Improve customer satisfaction
4. Be responsible for Greater China return orders
- Collect return/sample and other orders;
- coordinate with GSS to input the order data into SAP
- return/delivery arrangement
- transportation tracing, on time & in good condition;
- transportation/CW compensation follow up;
- billing/invoice
5. Be responsible for operate SAP system correctly and on time. Optimize system support. Manage filing, reports.
- Operate transportation related transactions in SAP, ensure it been done correctly and timely;
- Initiate and work with IS to further develop system to meet business needs
- Filing related documents, e.g., Delivery Note
- Business reports/analysis as requested
- Other tasks assigned by manager

Technical Skills
1. University degree or above majored in logistics, business management or related
2. Minimum 8 years logistics and customer service working experience, 3 years team management experience. SAP user experience is a plus.
3. Minimum 5 years transportation and customer service experience.
4. People management experience, especially manage those people with low education background (Carriers)
5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
6. hard working, able to work under high pressure and independently
7. Good time management and meet deadline
8. Sound computer skills in MS-office, ERP experience, SAP preferred
9. Good command of English in both spoken and written;
10. Business travel/customer visit as requested
