Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
- Be GE Quality Representative for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of purchased lighting products. Work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality policy, procedures and requirements. - Lead supplier qualification and approval process, conduct Business Survey and follow up audit with Sourcing, Technology and EHS team. - Work closely with program team to drive on-time program delivery, establish robust supplier quality control plans and supplier process capability, solving quality control related issue during products qualification phase. - Monitor on-going production quality and product regulatory compliance (PRC), conduct supplier process audits, PRC audits, eyes always open, identify potential quality and compliance risk, work out solutions to eliminate it or report for help on time. Manage supplier change request and get approval by working with cross functional team members. - Solve quality issues feedback from customers, identify root cause and take containment and preventive actions. - Work closely with team to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements. - Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodology, SWAT and other quality activities.

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS Technical Degree or above, minimum five years working experience. Working in lighting or electronic industry is plus.- Strong background and working experience in Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Control, know how to apply quality control tools for process / product controls, such as SPC, gage R&R, FMEA and DOE.- Strong working experience of lighting products and related manufacturing processes is plus.- Strong background in interpretation of engineering drawings/ specifications and manufacturing process planning/evaluation.-Good English and Chinese communication skills (written and verbal), analytical and problem solving skills.- Willing to travel often to supplier site and work together with suppliers closely.- Self-discipline, self-starter, ability to work in cross-functional team environment.

Desired Characteristics
- Six Sigma GB Certified. - Bachelor degree or above, Majored in lighting.
