Role Summary/Purpose

The Dealer Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and directing all of GE IS dealer related activities in the region. He/she will work with the channel develop team to identify, develop and execute a growth channel strategy of regional indirect sales for the business.


Essential Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will lead an indirect sales team to develop and execute the business’ sales target.
 The person will also work with business and functional leaders on internal process implementation related to the marketing seminar, channel certification, pricing application.
 He/She will oversee business/market intelligence development, syndicated data, sales analysis and corresponding presentations so as to identify and capitalize on the most advantageous business opportunities.
 Identify/prioritize new channel opportunities in conjunction with functional and business leaders.
 Lead competitive intelligence, track major competitors with focus on the ad hoc competition analysis projects when needed.
 Implement pricing campaign.
 Coordinate channel conflict, mitigate the compliance issue in their business activities.
 Evaluate organic growth strategies by channel development particularly geographical expansion, vertical and KA management.

 Undergraduate degree (preferably in an engineering or technical field)
 8+ years’ experience in power distribution/electronics or other industrial fields. Working experience in top-tier companies is preferred.
 Implementation experience and good communication skill is particularly important.
 He/she is an excellent broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers as well as executive functional and senior business leaders.
 The ability to lead and motivate, share vision, inspire and rally colleagues.
 Ability to build credibility with existing experience sales organization by building relationship with sales, marketing, pricing and other key business segment and functional leaders
 A driver who possesses the ability to take actions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
 Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force.


Qualifications/Requirements

Have proven success managing channel, marketing, sales or operational enhancement engagements in diverse technology and/or manufacturing driven industries.
 Solid commercial development and marketing expertise in a B2B distribution centric environment with significant growth expectation.
 Experience with the implementation of growth, new channel development and marketing initiatives that lead to stronger market penetration.
 Broad marketing analysis skill set complimented with a detail orientation.
 Proven ability to successfully direct business opportunities, including market assessment, strategic planning, objective setting and implementation.
 Strong business acumen, excellent written & verbal English skills are a requirement.
