职位描述
Principal Duties
1. Responds to all end user support issues (email, phone, or walk-in) and answers/troubleshoots any technical questions/issues.
2. Processes incoming Remedy cases and routes to higher support levels if necessary. Remedy is the company’s problem management system that each support resource uses
3. Documents all end-user interactions in Remedy.
4. Tracks and stays on top of all open issues by Case ID. Ensure no tickets are over-due and resolving problem according to Broadcom’s documented solution.
5. Creates and manages Knowledge Base solutions within Remedy.
6. Creates requisitions for hardware/software and tracks the approval process to deployment.
7. Manages, stores, and tracks all IT inventories which but not limited to SecurID tokens, tapes, loan system, phone etc.
8. Ships, receives, and deploys general hardware/software items (tokens).
9. Renewal/Disposal of EOL licenses or out of warranty items.
10. Supports new hire, leave of absence (LOA), move, reduction in force (RIF), and termination processes.
11. Jump starts and images new systems, including additional hardware/software requests.
12. Recovers data from hard disk drives and/or performs data migration.
13. Support remote access for virtual private network (VPN), network computing device (NCD), or wireless.
14. Support cellular device / services registration, termination and upgrading.
15. Support of troubleshooting and configuring of Cisco IP Telephony.
16. Provides weekly status reports.
17. Performs other duties as agreed between the contractor and company.
18. Conduct end user training if needed.
19. Escalate and engages other IT members when necessary to resolve urgent issues, or consider / review new solution.
20. Administers RSA servers for SecurID token.
21. Test and reproduces reported issues within the area of responsibility.
