Job Description:

* To ensure China Manufacturing Assembly Unit operation is of World-Class standard
* Manage the quality department
* Responsible for recruiting, managing and achieving efficient resource output from all members in the QA department.
* Work closely with other department to solve quality problems and to establish standard working procedures.
* Lead Departmental and cross Departmental Improvement Projects
* Develop a total quality management system and oversee the implementation of the quality control procedures and policies to ensure conformity with legal and corporate specifications and standards.
* Provide technical expertise to manufacturing operations in establishing, evaluating and implementing total quality management systems.
* Ensure China plant Quality Management System is maintained and further developed and at all times is in accordance with the requirements of ISO standards.
* Further develop performance measurements for China plant together with the Management Team.
* Work on continuous improvement of the quality systems and the products.
* Communicate effectively with Product Solutions- and Supplier Quality Teams for product quality improvements
* Co-ordinate with APAC and other region’s sales & service teams to obtain and analyze Customer Feedback & execute corrective, preventive and improvement actions
* Develop the team’s competence through training and development
* Plan, schedule, and implement training for quality control personnel and any other employees whose work directly or indirectly affect product quality.
* Direct the inspection and testing procedures of incoming and outgoing finished parts and products.
* Responsible for report on the performance of the quality system to China plant Management. The reports are to be used for improvement of the quality system.
The report on the performance of quality system should cover Internal Quality Audit report, Corrective Action Request report and Customer Request report.
* Responsible for liaison with external parties, such as China plant’s customers, Quality System Certification bodies and Quality System Agencies on matters relating to the China plant’s quality system.
* Make an Internal Quality Audit agenda every year and monitor the effectiveness of the Internal Quality Auditing implementation.
* The Quality Manager has the responsibility and the authority, if necessary, to stop production or delivery.
* Maintain records of all customer complaints, and review them with the Production Manager and related departments to resolve the complaints.


Requirements:

* University Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 8 years working experience in manufacturing industries. Minimum 5 years working experience as a QC/QA/EHS Manager.
* Demonstrated experience in managing a team of quality professionals in production environment within auto or heavy machinery industry
* Experienced in Auto or heavy machinery production quality systems : APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 5W, 8D, Lean, 5S, and other Quality Tools
* Competent in heavy machinery assembly and Quality processes
* Proven success in managing and partnering with suppliers.
* Competent in implementing and conducting audits for ISO9001 & ISO14001 Systems
* Competent in conducting Supplier Audit based on ISO9001
* Must possess proficient knowledge in quality control field and he/she must have hands-on leadership experience from quality control area.
* Demonstrated skills in leading cross functional teams to implement action plans
* Good command of written and spoken English
* Mature, dynamic and tactful personality with strong leadership and people management skills
