Kuehne + Nagel aims to identify and deliver service solutions which result in the achievement of the company's financial plans through customer satisfaction. The Sales and Marketing teams provide direction and service support to the Business Units and Business Fields to enable them to fulfil their strategies.




Job Description

• Identify training and development needs within the business through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments;

• Working together with the National Sales Trainer as a team to coordinate programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the business;

• Working together with the National Sales Trainer to develop effective induction programs;

• Increasingly, having an understanding of e-learning techniques;

• Assisting National Sales Trainer to design and develop training and development programs as well as supporting Corporate and regional initiatives based on both the businesses’ and the individual's needs;

• Producing training materials for in-house courses;

• Assisting line managers and trainers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;

• Assist National Sales Trainer to conduct appraisals;

• Devising and following up on individual learning plans;

• Delivering sales related training and development programs

Requirements to Candidates

• University Graduate with bachelor degree;


• Working experience in freight forwarding, logistics and/or transportation industry will be preferred;


• Three or more years of sales experience with a proven track record in general, and have experience in delivering sales skills to others;


• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Presentations should include handouts, and be well organized and professional. Some presentations will require that the trainer facilitate role playing, as well as other types of discussion and participatory seminars;


• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to motivate, teach and inspire the sales staff;


• Excellent command in both English and Chinese;


• Strong teamwork skills and ability to motivate, nurture a team;


• Strong sense of responsibility, self motivated with positive working attitude;


• Service orientated and attentive to details;


• High pre-activeness required.
