Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
• Lead the localization of mining vehicle and equipment in technical side for China UG(Underground井工矿) mining market, which includes investigation on the parts (MA certified) that can be sourced in China, interface / structure design change, concept design, validation & verification, documentation , assembly and test support in China.
• Support the vehicle system design and analysis, responsible for design change for local application, support the MA certification and mine application.
• Manage product localization progress and deliver result on time.
• Work effectively as part of a self-motivated team, actively support Productivity, NCI（新部件引入）and Reliability projects.
• Work with sourcing and commercial organizations to provide technical advice.
• Work with manufacturer to provide technical support on the assembly and test. Anticipate domestic travel as required to do onsite support.
• Make sure development follow company design rigors, such as Design for Six Sigma, TG （设计评审）and Regulations Compliance.
• Work with global engineering teams to understand product and component level requirement. Produce design documentation as required.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Vehicle engineering related BS/MS required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience either on vehicle design/application, or component/subsystem design/system integration /application for UG coal mining equipment.
• Vehicle system analysis experience, or proven skills on vehicle design/application is required
• Good bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required
• Experience of safety design for mechanical system for UG application, or experience on mechanical product certification for MA(煤安认证), MSHA（矿业安全健康委员会）and IEC（国际电工委员会）is preferred.
• Quality training, Greenbelt certification is preferred
