Project Manager

Job description

Our company is growing with a high speed and we now need to bring more project management capacity, and experience, to the team.

As Project Manager you will have the responsibility to, based upon the specification agreed with the customer, deliver engineered nutrunner systems and other special applications including automatic or semi-manual stations, reaction bars, torque arms, computer network etc.

You will;

· Together with sales engineer and customer representatives, work out technical specifications and solutions, delivery scope and plans.

· Be responsible for the cost calculation and cost control of the projects.

· Supervise designers, programmers and sub-suppliers so the product meets the specification according to contract.

· Have daily contact and follow up with suppliers and customer.

· Participate closely in activities during delivery, installation and start up process.

· Have to make sure we get the customers final acceptance according to contract and plan.

· Project Schedule preparing, track, updating to related Colleagues

· Set up meeting regularly with internal resource/team members to review project status, and motivate them to finish work according to your plan

· Flag up the issue to Managers when it happens

· Communicate with Sales for marketing activities

· Visit on customers site with sales to understand different kinds of applications, understand their advantage and disadvantage

· Communicate with oversea colleagues to get help if necessary

Experience requirements

We are looking for a person with minimum 3~6 years thorough experience of project management, preferably within industrial or process automation.

· Experience from automation system engineering, PLC programming and mechanical design is a plus.

· Professional experience from multinational companies is a plus.

· Experience from the automotive industry would be useful.

· Negotiation skill

· Drives hard on the right issues, effectively manages project team performance

· Creates win-win situations in all stakeholders and always considers the best of Desoutter profit in short and long term

· Ability to question the way we are doing things in order to find a better way

Educational requirements

You should have a university degree in automation/electrical/mechanical engineering or similar knowledge background.

Knowledge

Fluent in Mandarin and good knowledge in English language is a must.

Personality requirements

- High degree of creativity, initiative and self-motivation.

- Strong leadership skills

- High level of drive and an open-minded personality

- Business, result and customer-oriented attitude

- Social competent, and easy to create and maintain relationships.

- Must be able to travel.

- Good knowledge in MS Office products.
