General Purpose:

Responsible for leading a team of Process Engineering Director involved in improving process engineering capabilities in order to support a manufacturing organization.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several senior Process engineering leaders involved in activities related to process engineering capabilities and statistical process control systems.
• Organize and lead Project/Program reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications.
• Partner with other functional leaders to ensure process-engineering activities are well integrated with manufacturing operations.
• Provide guidance and feedback to subordinate leaders to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.
• Plan, budget, and manage the Process Engineering group costs in line with corporate objectives.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Job Requirements:

• A Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
• Have worked with paint suppliers such as Cashew and PPG etc
• At least 15 years experience within the paint industry, probably from mobile phone background
• Experience in manual and automatic paint lines (robots)
• Have the ability to work “Hands-On” with customer R&D team to develop/ define (DOE’s) process window/ capability
• Program manage a team to deliver objectives/ goals, and collate information from various DOE’s to define final solution
• Have the ability to compile a written proposal for total solution of new paint line facilities (E2E)
• Have proven networking ability for procurement of said proposal
• Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
• Ability to think strategically, defines problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
