Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. * Assistant GE Mining China Supply Chain leader to develop necessary business plans, including new making, overhaul/repair and spare parts business, to enhance all program requirements * Provide total leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production and compliance * Lead to achieving goals in localization, asset utilization, process / manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction * Develop onsite team and make sure it functioning very well to support business growth in China in terms manufacturing * Ensure assigned employees are aware/comply with all GE government, customer and applicable policies, procedures, rules and regulations ... ensure full compliance of the government’s requirement for all kinds of permits, EHS etc. * Connect the cross functional team, including commercial, engineering to make sure to support business growth in China * Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization, including ISO9001, ISO14000,18000 * Direct the manufacturing of production and development of hardware

Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college * 8 additional years of experience in a manufacturing/ shop leadership position * Strong oral and written communication skills - Chinese & English* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills* Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations established by GE as well as government and other customers* Strong problem solving and analytical skills* Team orientated and strong in collaboration* Flexbile to travel and/ or relocate to tier 2/3 cities in China to meet business requirements

Desired Characteristics
* Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems* Underground mining equipment industry experience
