Job Description
Amazon.cn is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to design, build and manage massively scalable programs which attract customers to Amazon's offerings via social media. As part of Amazon's Traffic (Marketing) organization, he or she will has chances to think and act big, exercising a bias for action coupled with thoughtful experimentation. The right individual will take responsibility on developing the social marketing strategy for the organization, conduct executions for all types of Social media activities and experimentations. He or she needs to balance creativity with the technical and analytical orientation to manage product design and help engineering delivery. The successful candidate should be a skilled negotiator, an enthusiastic problem solver and hands-on leader who can drive the team with strong sense of accountabilities to achieve the top goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Take ownership of channel performance and adjust tactics to meet objectives
- Develop and manage strong, high-level, relationships with national and international social network organizations.
- Execute social campaigns driving new customers and generating incremental sales
- Be responsible for driving strategy, ideation, and social product design
- Partner with Traffic and Analytics teams to evaluate and improve (as necessary) systems and methods of targeting, tracking, reporting, and evaluation of our social media programs.
- Partner with Creative team to develop more effective means of leveraging social networking channels
- Develop scalable processes for social operations (campaigns, sweepstakes, apps, integrations etc.)
- Work and coordinate social activities across related organizations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
- 6+ years of demonstrated career growth in marketing , online marketing or business development
- 2+ years of experience working in the area of social networking or Experience working with Social Networks (for example Sina Weibo, RenRen, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- Experience driving marketing strategy with an emphasis on customer data, lifetime value, and/or, cross-media optimization. Client-side experience highly desirable.
- Track record of success in metrics-driven media buying and planning (demonstrated financial results and impact)
- Team management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL skills, HTML, Social Media Advertising experience.
- Strong writing and analytical skills
