职位描述
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
To be responsible for overall operational/service delivery of the account in Asia (both import & export ).
Manage the account business with emphasis on driving process excellence to fully meet the client’s requirements, whilst ensuring strict adherence to the SOP.
Manage projects that both add value to and create competitive advantage for the account business, whilst driving additional revenue streams into the Damco organization.
Create an environment of innovation and rapid response to client’s needs based on a deep awareness of their business from both a tactical and strategic perspective.
Ensure the client remains highly satisfied with the service received from Damco.
To assist Global and Regional Key Account Managers to increase the size and profitability of the account to Damco, through achieving excellent levels of customer satisfaction, supporting business development initiatives as well as through cost saving and productivity improvement projects
Specific responsibilities of the position:
Project Management
? Represent the account in the implementation of new and additional business and ensures delivery of account work stream tasks
? Ensure successful project implementation and best practices sharing across Asia
? Support various projects to generate additional revenue
? Analyze complex supply chain problems. Solve and design suitable presentation to client stakeholders to drive the development of the projects.
? Engage other internal departments to improve clients’ overall supply chain performance.
? Analyze project status, room for improvement, and adjust solutions
Operation Excellence
Acts as an escalation point for all regional operation issues. Involve GAD / regional KAM when applicable.
? Ensures all SOPs/Contracts are adhered to and any fall-outs are addressed on a priority
? Reports to the GAD/KAM on service failures, operational challenges & their resolutions, improvements implemented, scope of work concerns, etc.
? Provide training to operations teams when required, including SOP reviews, systems training, etc.
? Close communication with client and origins to delivery excellent customer service
? Best practice sharing across origins
? Drive operation process effectiveness and improve productivity
? Meet all internal and external KPI with continuous good monitoring
? Work jointly and coordinate with other business units to ensure we optimize our operations, products and deliver highest service quality to clients in all branches.
? Ensure that client’s monthly report and internal scorecard are prepared timely and accurately as per pre-agreed format and timeline.
? Establishes and sets up global KPIs/Reports for sharing with internal and external parties
? Address operational concerns raised in CSS – Client Satisfaction Survey, or similar regional surveys
? Monitors locations that are either in ‘Hyper-Care’ or have a scope for improvements
? Drives Daily/Weekly Operations Calls with each Region, updating GAD and KAM’s weekly
? Prioritizes Open Issue List for on-time resolution so that customer service is not hampered
Relationship Management
? Maintain, develop and manage close working relationships with clients at the Managerial & operational level
? Involvement in global QBR’s with account
? Closely communication with internal and external stake holders to achieve win-win
? Close and effective cooperation with origins to support and help them to deliver
? Arrange regular client meeting to discuss operation improvement and development opportunities.

? Solid operational background and hand-on experience with MODS and other internal systems
? Good understanding of international supply chain
? Be able to work independently, and willing to travel upon business requirements
? Problem solving skills and customer service skills
? Ambitious and result oriented self starter with initiative and strong drive
Preferred:
? SCM operations / customer service experience
? Project management skills
? Excellent analytical problem solving skills
? SCM/forwarding and other Logistics experience
? Knowledge of the Asia/ China business and logistics market
? Knowledge of manufacturing and exports from the Asia market
? Knowledge of destination market in America and Europe
? Spoken and written Mandarin
