职位描述
Job Responsibilities include:
? Specification, design evaluation, project tracking, and product qualification testing
? Identification of opportunities for improved product manufacturability and cost reduction for motors and generators
? Technology scouting
? Interaction with suppliers to define “best-in-class” motors/generator solutions
? Motor/Generator application and design for air movers and compressor applications
? Motors/Generators qualification
Experience and skills:
? Good basic electrical understanding and hands on experience
? Understanding of magnetic circuits, circuit design and finite element analysis
? HVAC/small appliance knowledge with focus on ECM, BDC and PSC motors design and application
? Application and function of traditional induction and permanent magnet motors
? Familiarity with generators and generator designs.
? Familiarity with schematic capture
? Knowledgeable in product qualification to US and European standards-Underwriters Laboratory (UL), CSA and EN/IEC standards is a plus. IPC standards
Education:
? Chinese equivalent of a BS and Master Degrees in electrical engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience. Specialized training in motors is a plus.
? Mechanical engineers with a high electrical aptitude and experience in the field of motors will be considered.
