Finance Manager - Shanghai
On behalf of large European Fashion retail group, we are looking for a senior Finance Manager– Shanghai based and report directly to the CEO of China (European national).
You will be part of a serious start-up project with a very ambitious 5 years plan for China market!

Key Responsibilities:
? Establish and maintain strong financial controls and policies appropriate to the company in China.
? Create an accounting function to satisfy Group IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
? Ensure all local taxation and compliance requirements are satisfied, utilize agreed external resource as required.
? Ensure local treasury controls and cost controls are in place to provide stringent budgetary management.
? Maintain necessary business expenses controls, authorization and payment management.
? Tight working capital management.
? Preparation of the company financial planning.
? Establish reporting and analysis cycle to satisfy local requirements.
? Analysis of proposed capital and other project investment to ensure appropriate development of the company within agreed thresholds.
? Build and maintain appropriate payroll services
? Establish and maintain legal services to ensure all contractual commitments represent best practice and are compliant with local and Group requirements
? Develop and build team to satisfy growing financial requirements.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree or above, preferable major in finance/accounting
? Recognized accountancy qualification, minimum 3 years post qualifying experience
? Over 5 years experience in an international brand in a relevant financial role, esp. establishing financial function in start-up role
? Chinese national with fluent written and spoken English skills
? Strong leadership and management skills
? Detail-oriented, able to spot the financial issues that others miss
