Job Requirements:

-Graduate in Textile Technology.
-more than 1 year experience in garment technician field.
-Good command of professional translate for above garment field.
-Experience in an UK / European retail business is better.
-Experience of production and problem solving.
-Pattern Knowledge and sampling knowledge are required.
-Attentive to detail and well organized with good communication skills, self-motivated and pro-active.
-Good command of written English and spoken English.
-Computer literate.

Job Responsibilities:

-To work closely with the Garment Technologist and provide technical support to the Merchandise teams in the production of an NS Shanghai offer that fulfils the buyers' expectation in terms of price, margin, delivery and quality, whilst achieving NS KPI's, sales and profit targets.

-Data input the NS computer systems, maintain and monitor technical documentation and processes to ensure the technical performance of the product and the factories equal or exceeds the NS Shanghai KPI's and meets the expectations and requirements of the Next in terms of quality and delivery

-Liase with the NS Shanghai supply base to ensure its' performance equals or exceeds the company KPI's and meets the expectations and requirements of Next in terms of quality and delivery

-Work closely with the Designers, Product Development teams and the Merchandisers to ensure the fit and specification of buying samples and further manage the sealing process to the final handover of an accurate Blue File within the constraints of the critical path

-Work closely with the Fabric and Merchandise teams to ensure production and delivery of bulk orders is successfully managed within the KPI's of the business

-Maintain a good working relationship with the Next UK technologists, assist in the organisation of their visits to Shanghai and keep them advised of progress in process and systems

-Perform duties as required by the company and according to company policy, to support the growth and prosperity of the business, and according to the company needs.
